On my way out...
I had an amazing time in Pennsylvania this week, attending Wycliffe's Total It Up (Taste Of Translation And Linguistics) program. My summer will still be focused on praying for God's direction, but Bible translation looks like a great possibility at this point! Now, I am spending my last weekend in Virginia
, and I will be leaving for California with my friend BreeAnn on Monday!
Right now I feel pretty much lost in the middle. An incredibly intense week in PA, a short stop here, and then another big move next week back to CA for the summer. Yikes! And then where will I be in the fall? Who knows? God does, and I'm thankful for that!Currently Reading

The newest time-waster
I spent the first part of this weekend visiting my newly married friends, Kelly and John. We had a great time eating, laughing and juggling. Yes, juggling! I finally caved. These two have been juggling together since they've been together and are quite talented, I must say. I, however, have always felt a little insecure about my talents in that direction and have never asked to be initiated. Finally, this weekend it became impossible to hold off the influence any longer, and I picked up the juggling balls and asked John to teach me. AND IT WAS FUN! Who knew it could be so exciting, even when you drop the balls constantly! And I mean constantly! I told my friend BreeAnn yesterday that a muscle in the back of my leg was sore, and I didn't know why. When I started juggling again that night, I realized what that muscle is used for -- bending over to pick the balls up off the floor!
I'm improving though... Fifteen minutes ago I made eight catches! Don't laugh; that's impressive! So, now I will have a great way to use my time when I need a break from the craziness of packing up my room in the next two weeks.
